As production has started my group have began filming. So far this has been a mixed experience with some technical issues but for the most of it we've done good and currently only need to re shoot 1 shot.
We started out by filming the scenes in my house. For this we took pictures using the camera to create an environment to establish the lighting. Then we took pictures of a distortion grid and a piece of paper with the intended effect of creating the white balance. In the end we overcame most of the problems but will need to re shoot in that area again for a scene.
Afterwards we then went to film some of the scenes in collage near its reception area. Filming this time around worked out better. The biggest problem we faced was waiting for the place to be empty as to film.
The last place of filming we have currently done was filming in London. For this we went to film a panoramic shot of the London skyline. On the whole I'd say filming in London was a success as we got a range of panoramic shots showcasing London monuments. The biggest issues whilst filming was finding the best positions and carrying the equipment around. Overall filming has mostly been about overcoming and adapting the problems we face on the day which I believe we have done well.
